- It is organized by the Department of Education.

- Learners have to create their own stories; drama, poems, prepared speech; creative poet and traditional poetry.

- The competition is held in 3 levels: ward; circuit; and province.

2011WARD LEVEL

- Obtain 1^st position in traditional poetry; 1^st in drama on HIV/AIDS; 1^st in creative poetry.

CIRCUIT LEVEL

- 1^st position in drama; 2^nd position in creative poetry.

PROVINCIAL LEVEL

- Competed with 12 districts under KZN Province and obtained 3^rd position.

OUTCOME

- Equip learners with skills on language usage.

- Develop them in drama performances and stage plays.

- Create awareness on HIV/AIDS teenage pregnancy and abuse.

- Interact with different races with cultural groups.
